I learned part of it that way, but in 9th grade citizenship we had to memorize it and then write it in order to pass 9th grade.

I totally respect that. For me, it's the marriage that is spiritual and religious, not the marriage license or the person who does the paperwork.

<I don't know much about the couple as she is not interested in going into the story. All I know is that the families did not attend, for whatever reason. >

I understand that you were just trying to understand but you seem to get so bent out of shape when people don't want to give you ever freaking detail.

<But you are assuming that they are not religious because scottswife2001 is not. >

Nope I am assuming that because she has not said otherwise.

So how can you say your everyday life is not affected by religion, when it clearly is, by the documents that shape and govern our country?

"<>

That is irrelevant since you are neither party involved in this process.

<>

Again, it's not relevant."

Than why did you ask me WHY????

"<>

IF as you say, it's was something spiritual and religious, how does all of the other "stuff" fall into either category?"

Well for one, I had a minister had my reception who did a prayer and reading so it did make my party a spiritual and religious one-lol!!!----I never said the party had to be spiritual though.
