I completely understand what you're saying now. It's not frivolous if they have triplets. It's not frivolous if they volunteer a lot of hours. And if they have hired help just because they have the money for it, it's equally frivolous but possibly more fun to use that money to shop.

yes, by bus because I have to transfer busses and it takes time.

Riding the bus requires a LOT more time than driving because of waiting, stops, making connections with other routes, etc. A 10-minute car ride can easily be a 45 minute bus ride.
