I have never made a profit on a garage sale so nothing to claim.

It may not be "garnished' -- we tried to work out a way for David's child support to come right out of his paycheck which was for convenience sake more than anything - he finally worked out an auto bill pay so he doesn't have to write out checks every week -- but it took us a while to get that figured out - so having it come out ofhis pay may be more for convenience for all than anything else.

Thanks. I would actually like to hear from people who say they claim every dime they get.

My brother and his wife do the garage sale and ebay thing because she's in jewelry sales and makes money by consignment, I've done their taxes in the past and they claim the income that is not offset by expenses.

Didn't you have to go to the town to let them know that you had someone living in your home?
