Hmmm......Unanswered again....But again about the income that is not being reported...you stated that only the renter and rentee know if it's being reported...but how do you know it's not being reported?

I don't know who would consider you upper middle class. Your background, educational level, and occupational status all seem to spell "lower middle class" to me. That is not an insult. My parents were working class (father) and solidly middle class (mother). Together, they were lower Middle Class, that is how I was raised. Neither of my parents finished college, my Dad didn't even finish high school; we owned our own home for most of my childhood; my parents' occupations pretty solidly lower Middle Class.
