I'm really not sure what you're trying to say, sorry. You can consider my parents anything you want. I am going by the standard kinds of definitions and explanations used by sociologists, if you've got another source with other definitions, that's fine.
What makes you not sure that it true? PKA is a pretty savvy woman, especially about her own situation. We have a lot of areas around us that are mostly single family homes but are zoned multi-family because people take in boarders, or students sometimes rent in a group.
