I totally understand that. I would not understand not living together because you could not afford to do so.

If you understand people have different circumstances, why do you insist on making generalizations based on your individual circumstances?

Never said you need a "boat load of money" but I believe in doing things when you can afford them, getting married, buying a house, having kids. Those are things that I planned and did not do them spontaneously. We waited 2 years to get married so we could have a wedding that we wanted (and I understand that others do not need or want that). We waited 5 years to have children so we could easily afford our mortgage and daycare.

I think that all depends on where you live and when you buy a house. My sister was paying about $600/month for rent and her dh nothing as he lived at home. When they got married they immediately bought a house and their mortgage was $2,400.

My ds knew more at 4 years old than my dd did at the same age and thats why I was so mad that they held him back a year.

How do you teach history without religion, aren't they pretty intertwined with each other?
