There was no room in any of the other 1st grade classes to transfer Dylan so leaving school at lunch was the compromise. When he got an older, experienced teacher after Easter, he stayed in the classroom for the entire day.
That's weird. They still believe in Jesus Christ as the savior, though, right? Unless Lutherans worship Martin Luther and Catholics worship someone or something named Cathol?
Yeah, I understand the feeling. My grandmother doesn't consider me Christian because I'm LDS. I've just never heard of a member of a Christ-worshipping religion refuse to call *themselves* Christian. DH and I both grew up in Catholic families, and to look up at that gigantic crucifix while listening to the priest talk about the Last Supper - seemed pretty obviously Christian.
