The problem with being the whiney parent, is that it only works for a limited amount of time (twice, perhaps if you are lucky thrice). They may talk nice to your face, but they will not continue to accommodate you. They will just assume you will be unhappy with any decision they make.

You mentioned that you were qualified to be a mom. What "qualifies" a person to be a mom? If a mother doesn't need to have a certification to be qualified to take care of her children (it just matters that she takes care of them well), then why would a mom need to have a teacher certification to be qualified to home school her children as long as she can teach them well?
I'm about to get my elementary teacher certification. If you want to be just as qualified as me, I can mail you the THREE books that we read and got tested over.
