In the reserves, once you're activated (called up) and sent from your home station, you're considered deployed. LIke in the flooding in Iowa and Nebraska this summer--when the National Guard was called up and sent, they were deployed.
But you're right, it was confusing the way she wrote it initially.
I think it's the difference between active duty and reserves. Once you leave your home station on active status in the reserves, you're considered deployed.
If your Mom said something provably wrong (which she did), it's everyone's right to mention it. The fact that you emerged from her uterus does not confer special protections on her.
I do appreciate that it's considerably shorter and I'm sorry that you're so upset that I complained, but for heaven's sake, I have a 27" monitor and I still had to click more than once to get through it all. And that's just assinine. How many clicks must someone with a 13"-15" monitor have needed to get past it all? So I do appreciate it.
