i'm not judging your mom I'm presenting factual evidence to the contrary.
If my mom told me all kids have brown hair and you showed u with two red headed kids and said" your mom is wrong" I would say "you're right. here are facts to prove it'
and there woudlnt be any judgement in it.

I'm saying to excuse physical fighting b/c "all kids fight" is -- not so much a reason.

Liza auditioned for a production of Oliver! this week and my FAVORITE line in 'I'd do anything" is when Nancy says "Even fight my Bill?" and Dodger says "What? fisticuffs?"

Often home is the 'safe' place for the release of that kind of energy - I went through this the year after my divorce with Liza -- she was perfect everywhere but home where she was a nightmare b/c she knew that I would still love her no matter what and it was a safe place to act out her anger and frustration. That's when she was 6-7, the tide started to turn when she was 8 -- at 9 now THANK GOD after a ton of patience on my part, some therapy for her, and endless endless amounts of love she is unbelievable at home. I have to pinch myself it's the same kid sometimes!

I knew from the moment I met my son's teacher last year that she was not the right teacher for him.

When Kelly and I get married we plan to ask our Friend who introduced us to marry us -- she's a JP and does weddings here and there and it's for the very reason BECAUSE it's more personal we want her to officiate!

This is clearly a different situation than thinking you should get to pick your childs teacher EVERY year.

You said it was frivolous to pay for household help as a SAHM. How is shopping less frivolous?

Pushed? Yes. Smacked or pulled hair? Oh my, no. They'd still be in timeout.
