I never said sahp's had 100% freedom. I do think you have the most when you are retired though, in "many" instances of course, not all.

I would get up late. Travel more. Just do whatever I wanted whenever I wanted.

It is really bad-lol!! I will just have to bring it into work this year so I am not tempted to eat it all-lol. I lost 3 lbs. since vacation (where I was eating dessert twice a day as the way the dining plan is, you get a drink, meal and dessert with 2 of the meals per day) since I went back to the gym and cut down on my eating from vacation and part of the summer that I did not go to the gym or exercise "heavily".

Did I say that?
No.
I asked you if you thought that.
It was a question, for clarification.
It was not an assumption, or an accusation.
Please, don't make this thread all about you.

Depends on the amount of homework of course but I would estimate they spend about an hour and a half in the library, but it's open until 5pm M-Th and 4pm on Friday.

That was my question...what would you want to do?
What kinds of things would you do, that you don't do now (besides travel or sleep in)?
How are these activities funded?

Yea, both of my kids have more homework than the basic classes as well, so it's more than the norm usually.

Does he have to wait for a ride? Is that why he stays until 5? My dd does not so when she is done, she goes home.

My parents have been retired for a number of years now and they enjoy quite a bit of freedom and their grandkids as well, lol.
