I use the same amount and don't make any other adjustments, but I guess you'd have to experiment and see what you like. They do taste a little different, but I like them just as well.

Well, then that's a simple math demonstration and has nothing to do with time management skills.

I don't agree, I think time management skills factor into the equation if one actually thinks that a 35 hour job takes up most of their time, they need to look at time management after making such a statement.

I'm definitely going to try it, both you and mom34 always sound like you guys are good in the kitchen.

Have you experienced both situations? I have. And no matter how caring and loving the long-distance grandparents are, no matter how hard they try, no matter how much they want to be actively involved - it just can't be done at the same level as if they were close by. If you take the same set of grandparents - with the same bond, the same desires, the same commitment - and place them in two scenarios, one close and one long-distance, you'll get different results. It can't be the same. It just can't.

What you remember reading earlier does not contradict the post that you are responding to. Can you answer the question, though?

That's the perception that has been given.

That type of grandparent is a totally different species though. I am speaking of grandparents who don't live close but are in contact with their grandchildren on a regular basis and know what is going on in their lives and are pretty active.

Exactly.
