This past week, another parent said about my SAH, "You're doing a great thing by SAH."

Did they say why they wished their wives WOH?
I heard more comments about men wanting their wives to work than wanting their wives to SAH.

Whcih comments? The ones from men that wished their wives WOH? Or the ones that said SAH is an important thing?
don't know. I know that one of the things that attracted my dh to me was the fact that I was a wohm -- and raising 3 great kids.

I've had a few men say this to me as well.
you make a great point..through the years,i've heard older women say plenty of times that they're great to see i'm a sahm as they were sahms themselves when their children were small (an ice breaker with the welcome to the neighborhood brownies and all,lol).........but i do get what you mean about woh *men* feeling more comfortable acknowledging our role than woh women.
I don't think they had.
I get this once in a while,
