I wish I was running errands with you right now.

I'm all about the flexible work arrangement.

I used to have Wednesdays off in a previous life.

If I was working I'd like 4 10 hour days, I did that at a temp job when I was young. I was young though, no Dh, no kids but i think I would still like it. DH did it for several years at his currant job, it was really nice to not haveto take all the kids out to take the older ones to school but I hated that he worked every Saturday. He really liked having 3 day off or working OT one day but not feeling like it was OT.

I used to work 7:30-4pm with a 1/2 hour lunch break. And would have loved to do longer M-R and shorter on F.

We always talk about this at work. We would all love to work 4, 10 hour days. We currently work M-F, 9-5 with an hour lunch break, only a 1/2 hour of it paid though.

That's why I love working shift work. The stores and post office are a lot more accessible :)

But if I had my 'druthers' I'd work Sun-Thur, rather than Mo-Fri. It'll never happen, tho, since we depend on the Hill for our work load and there'd never be any work on Sundays.

I usually work 8-4 Mon-Fri. I also work 1 Sunday every 6 weeks or so, and then have off 4 hours during the next week. And I work until 4:30 or 6 occasionally too. Part of me likes my normal schedule, because I get home early. Sometimes I even go earlier so I can leave at 3 or 3:30. I think in an ideal world I'd have one day off a week to do run errands. That's mostly okay right now, because DH is home during the day to take care of a lot of that stuff. But this week, I wanted to buy something at one of the stores downtown-- but it closes at 4. Very inconvenient for me. I do have the flexibility though to set my own hours, so it wasn't too much of a problem. Maybe I'd work 7-5 Mon-Thurs or Tues-Fri?

ETA: Sorry for all the rambling . . .
