I'm considering staying at home but have a few questions for those of you that do.

Approximately how much does your significant other make that enables you to stay home?

Can it be done with only

Not unless you want to collect food stamps and welfare checks.

You cannot check out magazines at the library here but at libraries in some of the previous places we have lived you could check out previous issues.

So, how do you survive when almost HALF of your income is NEEDED for rent/mortgage?

The previous poster said that it's impossible to do without welfare of gov't assistance.

Did you have 800/month mortgage, $450/month car payments, student loans, etc?

That's what is in op. 1250+ a month and more apparently and only 30K coming in. There is no way to live on that without public assistance, whether eic, wic, etc.

I believe I answered that in an earlier post, in response to the OP.
