Would you or could you possibly forgive a cheating spouse? Why or why not??

Is there hope after infidelity?

Do you think SAHM's are more likely to forgive a cheating husband then WOHM's due to financial dependence/independence?

There's been no mention of his smoking or her dd's piano skills. That's what's missing for me (unless I missed it from other posts).

Neither were hers. So I'm curious. Does he smoke? Around the kids?

LOL, blunt and to the point. However, I didn't even use a swear word. There are MANY quite vulgar ways I could have chosen to say that."

Oh get real. You can be vulgar without swearing. And you *have* been.

" I chose to be blunt to make a point. Why you find this so offensive is beyond me. I've heard MUCH MUCH worse, lol."

Tell that to a kid next time they use a four letter word, or a racial slur. Better yet, next time a kid punches your kid in the nose, say it could have been worse. There is always "worse." That's no excuse for bad behaviour.

The point is as I said that one does not have to hike her skirt, spread her legs, roll in the hay, however you want to say it just because stuff happens in life. Stuff happens is not justification for an affair any way you slice it."

I never said that "stuff" happening in life justifies actions. Just like I don't believe that trying to make a point, justifies crude behaviour.

I addressed her by CLW and said I hoped everything went well in regards to her divorce. She said she didn't know who CLW was and she wasn't getting a divorce. I still think CLW is back.

I was the one. There once was someone who used to post here who was an engineer with 2 daughters who had a mentally ill mother with the same exact debate style as yours. I just thought it was CindyLouWho aka grimskeeper. It must just be a wild coincidence.

Actually if I recall, it was a mentally ill father, thats part of the reason her mother left him. Her mother passed away when Cyndi was in her early 20's I think, but I dont recall her as being mentally ill (?) (maybe she was, I cant remember!!)
