Ah come on now, I think those who have given advice, which you have questioning as being qualified to give advice deserve an answer....
So again....Since you are questioning who is qualified to hand out the advice and who isn't...please list your qualifications in order to first make that judgement.
Yes. All kids do have problems in that sense. Some kids also have learning disabilities, developmental disabilites or problems that come from the temperment they were born with. (These are relevent to some kids of moms on this board).Which are more problematic than having the wrong baseball cleats but not the same as being a runaway or drug addiction.
You implied that the moms on this board weren't qualified to give advice because (you said) our kids had problems. To which I and several others said- yes, of course they do because kids just have problems and that is part of life and does not disqualify anyone from giving advice. Now you bring in drug addiction and running away from home. Again I ask...why? Why are you bringing up these sorts of problems? Are you trying to imply that any of the kids raised by moms on the board have these problems and therefore THAT'S why they aren't qualified to give advice? Seriously. I want to know WHY you brought it up.

Could you find the post where I said that her getting a job would make her marriage blissful and she won't end up in divorce court?
