Being a SAHM is certainly a valid choice. However, it is only a valid choice when it is a conviction SHARED by both husband and wife. That's what gives it its validity. If BOTH spouses agree that having a SAHM is best and they can afford it- then for them it actually is. Because they agree. If it isn't a shared conviction than what it morphs into is not the conviction that a woman should be a SAHM, but rather that a man is required to support a SAHM whether he wants to or not. And that's where it goes off the rails. It must be a shared conviction or it's just about the wife tryoing to bully the husband into supporting her.

how do you know that? maybe she would meet someone else and get married again and he would support her choice. or maybe her payments would be enough. because some posters on here don't get enough cs or don't get any, doesn't mean that no one else does!
