If the crumminess of one's life, or marriage, has anything to do with cupcakes, pool covers, or knock-off purses, I'm outta here...

only if she becomes one of those "lazy shiftless' welfare moms the far right always complains about -- cuz you know it's best to stay home with baby -- unless you're poor, a minority, a new immigrant, or have the misfortune to live in rural poverty or the blighted inner city

"You disagree? Typical explanations for why people SAH are things like "I want to be there for the milestones;" "I would miss my child;" "Only I can do X right for my child" etc. Most of them are about mom and what she wants, not about the kid. So far, I have not seen any credible reason, other than cases of special needs, for why it would be in a child's best interest to have mom at home all day. "

sah is a great option, but it is not something one person can decide for themselves and force upon another, unless of course she is independantly wealthy, which it doesnt appear is the case.

she does want to sit at home and collect off this guy. no where in the wedding vows does it say the husband is solely financially responsible for his wife.
