Why does the media portray working moms, always, as having guilt?

I run with four kids and I'm not always exhausted by the end of every day.

Well, it seems I must say it yet again....

Again, my children did not suddenly appear at their current ages and/or abilities to help clean.

No, I understand all of that as my posts clearly state.

Do you really think that baths are all that is involved in childcare?

I think you need to go back and review. I asked you what things you were referring to that your son can't get on his own or carry on his own that takes up a lot of your time.

Milk, apple juice, toys on a top shelf, clothes in the closet, food on the top shelf. I think you forget he is 3 and a little peanut. He is not strong enough to carry alot of things and needs help.

Again, yes. Again, my parents still made my brother responsible for his messes and I'm certain that by the age of 8 or 9 he was taking showers/baths on his own.

Did he have add or adhd? There is a difference.

Well as it's been discussed, there are experiences outside of your own. I don't recall when, he's in his mid 40's now and has been diagnosed since he was in elementary school.

Of course there are experiences outside of my own but just like somethings have come out as we get older, I don't remember them naming add or adhd when I was in elementary school. I will have to research this.

I actually have to agree wit Hazel on this one -- my dryer is an inside vented drier (they do exist!) and It can get a little humid down there sometimes -- not all the time but if it's a heavy load of towels then yeah it gets a bit steamy-- love it in the winter though!

When I was pregnant with Angela, that's what I did with Joy (age 6) and Erica (age 3 1/2). I poured their milk into sippy cups. The cereal box and bowls were on the table. Joy could get the cups from the fridge and pour the cereal. They both got their own spoons. The cable box was already on the KPBS channel. All they had to do was to turn on the TV. A matter of pulling a knob. By the time the yoga program came on after Sesame Street and Mr. Rogers, I was ready to get up.
