Why does the media portray working moms, always, as having guilt?

Because you don't have a job outside of the home.

I understand some of the things I deal with, with my daughter, I need to pick my battles. It is an everday thing though with her so I can't change mine or her attitude overnight.

When my mil came to visit (hasn't seen my dd in 5 years and never met my son) she asked me if this is how everyday is and I told her yes. She could not believe it as she had 3 children, one after another, that she said were NOTHING like I have to deal with. My sister who is a teacher and my mom, who is pratically a saint can only deal with so much either. It is non-stop with my daughter and if you have never had a child like her, you do not know. I am not saying that there are not harder situations as I know there are but besides the whole "having a clean house", I have alot of other things to deal with that makes it stressful.

I was not pointing the finger at you. I was saying in terms of any mother.

And so do the rest of us. Really. We all have things that make our lives very stressful. You're not the only one.

Of course but until you deal with a child with adhd everyday, you don't know that they grasp somethings quickly or remember things. She is excellent with her school work because she is a smart girl but when it comes to day to day things, she can't remember from one minute to the next.

I changed my mind, I don't want to marry you, I want to marry Kelly.

There was a 3 year period during which I got divorced, came out of the closet, changed jobs, bought my condo and moved, and dealt with the deaths of my sister, my best friend and my new boss and my mothers breast cacner diagnosis, all while working and raising Liza...my constant motto was "other than that Mrs. Lincoln how was the play?" ....we all have burdens to shoulder, it's how we deal with them that makes life bearable. I deal with mine by making jokes and refusing for one second to take anything too seriously.... well that and single handedly keeping Yellow Tail wines in business.... ;-)

Yes. We. Did.
