Why does the media portray working moms, always, as having guilt?

no way, i have a 4 year old, just turned 4, and i do not run after him all the time and he is anything but neglected. i have never had to constantly run after any of my three kids. even at three, cant your child play by themselves for at least some period of time, cant they get themselves a drink of water.... even three and four year olds can be self-sufficient to some degree, they dont need someone to do everything for them.

I have an 8 year old, almost 9 so I past that stage already. Every age if hard but there are different aspects of why it is hard. Younger ones are more physically demanding while older ones are mentally demanding!

Yes, and so? They did not call it add/adhd until 1980. He might have been diagnosed as a hyper child with this disorder but they did not have a name for it until 1980. Was he also on meds?
