Why does the media portray working moms, always, as having guilt?

Seriously... I'm not trying to be mean here. Why don't you try reading your posts out loud to yourself? Honestly, kindly, with no offense meant, I can't even begin to decipher what you could possibly mean.

I know who it is now. She did not say anything when someone asked so I had no clue. Too many names and I am out of the loop.
I am sure if someone said that to you, you would be insulted if you didn't know who it was.

Why does knowing who it is make it less insulting? Either it's an insult or it isn't.

Ewwwwwwwww. Now, I may not be the cleanest person in the world, but that's just nasty. I may have a laundry basket waiting to be folded sitting in the living room for a day or two, or maybe my breakfast bar collects a bunch of junk, but I clear it off once every week or so and clean it. My kitchen is clean every night, I clean my bathrooms weekly or more depending, etc. I don't mind messy, (stuff maybe not put away all the time) but I hate dirty.

then you've completely and utterly missed the point. Great moms can be sah OR woh. Work status has NOTHING whatsoever to do with parenting.

Because then you would know if they were joking or not. I kid around with my dh and friends all the time. Anyone else outside of us would think we were mean to one another but we all know that we are joking.

I am with you. She had to wait awhile too to get a new kitchen so I am sure it was grossing her out (he dh more because he is a super clean freak) all the time. She was never the cleanest thing but as she got older, she got better.

<> Um, because we enjoy our jobs and can do BOTH???

ROFLOL! I'm still trying to figure out why this is so hard to understand.

Personally, if I visit someone's home and it is always spic and span, totally spotless, not a napkin out of place, ALL THE TIME.... that is exactly what I think of them.
