Why does the media portray working moms, always, as having guilt?

I don't think it was an implication; she said it flat out. If you don't drive yourself half mad with busy work like she does and raise children incapable of functioning within their own home, you're a lax parent.

How hard is it to put blocks or Leggos into their respective containers? If he finds it hard to put away the blocks, Leggos, puzzles, etc then perhaps he shouldn't be playing with them until he is old enough to put them away. Or perhaps you need to change how they are stored so that he can be responsible for his own stuff.

You might as well hear it now. 13 is like 3 with swear words and a much higher tolerance for irritating one's parents purposely. And 18 is like 13 with voting rights.

Because, silly, if you expect your children to pick up their own toys, you clearly neglect your children and encourage mold and mildew to grow in your home. duhhhh.

I've noticed the same thing about music and cell phones, as well. No one, it seems, can tollerate peace and quiet any more.

Is it also a British-ism to not complete sentences or thoughts? Because I'm sure not a mind reader.

I just found out last week that Dylan can paint walls and does a great job at it.

For the same reason why women/mothers have always gone back to work after childbirth. To help support the family.

~~they get bored in doors~~

I wouldn't get bored there. I might feel awfully claustrophobic. And thin if the door isn't insulated.
