Why does the media portray working moms, always, as having guilt?

Sure I can find 5 mintues to do it. But why should I spend 5 mintutes doing something I see no need to do. A made bed means nothing to me.

Do you supervise or double check his cleaning?

If we're spending 5 minutes doing something that has *no* value for your family, that's where we go slightly off the rails. Why not rephrase and say just hanging with your loved ones has more value to you than spending that 5 minutes wiping something up?

Cleaning does have *some* value, or no one would do it.

Totally off topic for this post but I am too lazy to go back to the post it relates to, the one about your DD asking you to put your tampons away in the bathroom instead of leaving them on the counter.

My DD3 is leaving for college this Thrusday. I have been gathering all of the things that I have been buying her to take and putting them on the ledge next to our front door. So upon entering our house one of the first thing you see are two boxes of tampons.

Child care is a "Wonderful opportunity for many a child...but who's needs are most important...the parents or the child/children...(for the children most of the time of course ......but you can't tell me,there are NO parents out there who place their child/children so they can put their needs first....let me tell you a very short story... Once upon a time, there was a women, who went all out to place her children in a Daycare center, and did,and guess what?...the Daycenter cost much more than her salary would allow!!....but she still got around to placing them in there!...and why?..because she LOVED her payed job soooo much!...but of course there are NO WOMEN out there who would go to such lengths!...

No some of the clothes are given to them by their teachers as they did not have winter coats to wear. The grandparents provide the shelter as 4 generations live under one roof (13 people in a 4 bedroom home).

Absolutely. No one is perfect. All we can do is try our best. To don't have to be perfect to have pride in yourself and home.
