Why does the media portray working moms, always, as having guilt?

Of course your little sweetie would rather be playing around with other kids...that speaks for it self...but you work,so he has to either go to work with you...and be stuck in the kids room out back...and would surely get bored while your doing something you enjoy..... ...where as I have just mentioned to another lady..that is why alot of women go back to work because they get bored in doors...as for your little sweetie, there is plenty he could do with you...and before long he would be in fulltime schooling...and you would have many hours that you would enjoy, without having to think little sweetie is in the the kids room out back and is bored....bet he's adorable!...

I can't believe you have an 1100 sq ft house with only one bathroom and try to tell us how easy it is to keep things spotless. I bet it is, with only 1100 sq ft!!

Not for things like that. When they're assigned/told to actually thoroughly clean the bathroom, yeah, we supervise. But not for daily stuff. Like I said ... I try not to even go in there.

The fact is that one parent's reasons for placing their kids in care is just as good as another's.

Sure, cleaning has some value. I wouldn't pay someone to do it if it didn't.

But for *ME*, making my bed daily has no value.

What if you're invited to an out-of-town wedding? Do you say No so that you can mow your lawn? And what if it rains for 24 days straight? And I don't mean a sprinkle here and there, I mean inches per day. You can't mow then. You can't stick to a schedule always under all circumstances.

Dh normally mows Sat or Sun mornings. But it just doesn't always happen that way.

And, btw, we have our lawn treated so that it doesn't need it more than once a week.

It is neon impossible to do the work fulltime if your NOT with them!...with the exception when he/she or they attend school fulltime.....I think you were meaning to tell me that Moms who work out side the home do-not parent their kids all the time...because what you said was...How utterly disgusting to insinuate that moms who WORK AREEEEEEEE parenting their children FULLTIME......which is totaly impossible...but we are parents all of the time...and as your NOT home..how would you know...that you do-not have to be home to raise your kids?....easy when their small, but they do grow up...well some of us do,but for now...I think you should sign out...as something NOT someone is getting to you...

I think what we're wondering is where the connection between made beds and pride in one's home occurs.
