Why does the media portray working moms, always, as having guilt?

I'm sorry. I must have not been clear. The daycare provider that Dylan went to full time (32-35 hours a week) was a friend long before I got married or had kids. She was not a stranger. However, the teachers that Dylan has had in school have all been strangers at the beginning of each school year. What makes it ok for me to send my 5 and half yo off to a stranger for 3-6 hours a day (depending on if K is all day or half day) but it's not ok to send him to daycare when he was 5? Or did you homeschool your children?

<<I mean who wouldn't FEEL GUILTY!...I sure would...but as I decided to have children then it was MY responibility to stay home and take care of my OWN children!. >>
Don't they have two parents?

Hey, that's my question.

Then we do agree on something. I would never hire you to watch my child either. Did you allow extended family to watch your children? Did they ever to to grandma's house, spend the day with their cousins; go to work with grandpa?
