Why does the media portray working moms, always, as having guilt?

It's a good thing that there are a lot people like us. Otherwise, the country would tip and send us all into one ocean or the other.

I am beginning to think that maybe late at night, the nurse falls asleep and the computer is unguarded.

hee.. Kelly , Liza and I are all going to see the Simpsons on Sunday! But then again I've been known to indulge in Simpsons quote-a-thons with my coworkers...

I have been a working mom for most of my kids' lives, they are now 24 and 19, and have never used othercare. Dh and I just didn't see a benefit for our kids so I worked evenings when they were small and during school hours when they got older. Parents make many different arrangements for their families. Not all of them involve putting infants in daycare. I don't "have" to work, but the extra money is nice, lol.

Does you DH work? Did he stay at home till your child (children) were whatever age *you* think its acceptable to trust them to other care? How could *he* leave *his* 3 month old with *you?*
Personally I was at home till my twins were 14 months old. But I certainly "left" them in my DH's care, or my mothers, or our nannies for a few hours before them to do things like -- oh you know, sleep, and grocery shop, and even go for runs (selfish me).

I feel that I can give my children an education catered to their learning style. I felt(and still do feel) they can get a better education at home than in school, at least through middle school.

Oh its a deal. You can borrow him from Monday - say Wed; any week; and I'll take your DH Friday - Sunday so my entire house can smell of cakes and cookies.
I'm pregnant so right now that sounds about like nirvana:)

I love to cook, so I usually don't mind that DH never ever does. But it would be SOOOO nice to come home to baked goods.
