Why does the media portray working moms, always, as having guilt?

We were just not comfortable basing our family's budget on two incomes. We craved the flexibility that our arrangement gave us. I only worked three evenings a week and I was home for bedtime. It helped me keep my foot in the door with my clients and I enjoyed it. It didn't cut into our family time that much and dh's relationship with each of the kids was strengthened by the time they spent together without mom around, lol. It was a great choice for us.

Here you can, a message just pops up "Please show your id to an attendant"...I turn around and look at them, smile and they punch a few buttons.

As I said, I turn around look at them and smile, then they punch a few buttons.

<<I'm thinking 100 or 200K more, especially because you're essentially being forced to retire early due to your DH's retirement date.>>
I'm curious, how did you arrive at that number as well as your belief that I am being forced to retire early due to my dh's retirement date?
