Why does the media portray working moms, always, as having guilt?

How is the owner earning an income if the business is not yet making money?

1. I understand that and I agree those mothers are WAHM.

2. DC is irrelevent to your working status.

3. So then by what you are saying is that every person that sells their house for profit is a WAHM. Every person I know even SAHM are WAHM because I have never known someone to sell their house without making a profit.

So if you decide to gut your kitchen and pick out the things YOU like to go into your new kitchen you are a WAHM? If you decide to have your house refloored because it needs to be done you are a WAHM?

If there is money being earned to reinvest into the business then the business is making money, just not a profit.

"It really isnt hard."

So your view is that what you're doing is very time consuming, but not hard and not work because your financial benefit doesn't come with a W-2?

"However while the business may not turn a profit said owner is still earning an income."

How so?

Nope. What I am saying is that I dont earn an income...therefore I am not a WAHM.

we used several in-home dc providers when the kids were little. they were paid to watch the kids. In their home. That makes them WAHMs -- NOT sahms.

see, it's not complicated at all.

"The do as I please time as a SAHM isnt until my DH is home and I go exercise for about 1 hour."

You don't ever have do as you please time while your children are playing with each other, away at playdates or birthday parties or camp, or while they have quiet time?
