Did you make your decision to SAH/WAH/WOH ft/pt based primarily on objective/tangible factors, or with your heart?

I was thinking about when my kids were that little as well and I could never catch them

Daycare to me denotes a group childcare center. Sorry if that wasn't more clear. Around here we say 'nanny' for nanny, or 'grandma/other family member' for that sort of single-person care. Daycare is only used here to describe group childcare settings- most often centers, although group home care is sometimes referred to as well.

No, but I wasn't aware that "the life of a wohm" was confined to the infancy stage of childhood. And you later suggested I wasn't a real wohm because you (wrongly) thought that I had never used childcare and that even now, I never had to pick up my kids by any certain time. You also hinted that not working ft wasn't enough to join the club.
It's usually the militant sahms who are really pt wohms who insist they are still sahms because they don't use childcare or work at home, so I'm amused to see this argument being made from the other side.

Completely and totally uncalled for.

"Actually I have been reading a couple of different experiences on the board and they don't seem to agree with you line of thinking. I have friends who have twins and they have met us at the park or wherever."
If they met you at the park, wouldnt that qualify as having more than one adult supervising? I was under the impression that SAHM2B was referring to not wanting to go to a place like that without another set of eyes/hands.
Maybe I'm wrong.
Yikes.
