Did you make your decision to SAH/WAH/WOH ft/pt based primarily on objective/tangible factors, or with your heart?

I absolutely *do* go out almost every single day, unless the child/ren are sick (and then gee, the Dr office or drug store might be required, dontcha think?). So yes, on *some* (albeit very few) days, a WOHM has to drive when a SAHM doesnt.

Score one for the WOH side! Wooohooo. Why are we even debating this?

If you want to think that based on your rare experience of young children napping at the same time, then go ahead.

1) Not all older siblings attend preschool.

2) Many, if not most, 4 yos don't go off on playdates on their own, the SAHP is usually present.

Perhaps my math mind is getting in the way of this, but isn't it the same ratio?

But, I think the question was are you required to go out every single day...and the answer sounds like a no, just that you want to go out every single day.

That is fine. However unless there is a medical issue, then there should be no complaining about sleep deprievation when it is the parents own fault.

OMG- yeah- I remember stairs at that time... OMG not fun! LOL! I wish I'd have at least had the *option* to try a VBAC with my 2nd. At least the second time around I had the Duramorph (morphine added to the spinal). SUCH a huge difference! LOL!

So that's 3 opportunities to 1.

That's why I said IME. It is my preference, nothing more, as I already stated in an earlier post.
