Did you make your decision to SAH/WAH/WOH ft/pt based primarily on objective/tangible factors, or with your heart?

How sad for a child to have to realize, over weeks of time, that no matter how upset they are or how hard they cry, no one will come. Sorry but that isnt something I would have ever wanted to *teach* my babies.

Uh- the outdoor kind- you know- outdoors where the pigeons live and play and poop? LOL! (Oh- and I believe the mystery goo was a disgusting combination of cigarette butts, fallen ice cream and cat hair ball. But I could be wrong on the hair ball part. It was rather disturbing to look at though LOL.
I *am* allergic to most everything it seems (grass most of all). But since we live in the suburbs, it's not -so- much an issue- the parks aren't grass turf that we go to- they're wood chips or small pebbles etc. so I don't have to worry about rolling around in pollen. And no- I don't go during my peak allergy times. (I'm one of those who really appreciates news stations who issue the 'high grass pollen' alerts etc. LOL) But yes- if I have a choice I'll take the kids somewhere fun *indoors* rather than outdoors during allergy season.

You've never heard of a baby crying that long?
Um, I did seek medical advice from my ped, but he said there was nothing wrong with them. It was just their bodies way of dealing with immature digestive systems. All babies have immature digestive systems and some babies have no issues with it. Mine had gas. Was it a medical issue? Nope. Unless you consider every time you have gas that you have a medical condition.
Could you please clarify what you are asking? I'm not sure what you are referencing here.

Not that simple. The right one for us was letting his brain and body naturally grow out of it.
I can't argue about this anymore. I'm already grieving the loss of my FIL today ... I don't need this crap from strangers.

Again, spoken like someone with no real experience in these issues. I take it you havent read much about child development, since you dont seem to understand what a high needs child is. High needs tends to be a personality/genetic trait. Not a *medical issue*.
