Did you make your decision to SAH/WAH/WOH ft/pt based primarily on objective/tangible factors, or with your heart?

Depends on what you mean by 'read'. If you mean 'Did you thoroughly go through and understand what was written' then no- I didn't read it and the statement would be true. Just like if someone asks me if I've read their email- If I know it's there but didn't really go through it for content, then I will say no- I didn't read it. If I gave it a cursory glance- I don't consider that to be *reading* it. I could give you the gist but couldn't quote you specifics (much like this issue- if I gave it a quick glance, I wouldn't have picked up the specific statement that has upset you so much due to my lack of comment on it.)

And again- the statement is made as an absolute, and as an absolute it *is* false. If you mean to say it's *sometimes* not easy to, or even it's *often* not easy to..... then fine- I'll go with that. But as an absolute generalization- like it or not- it's false- whether I responded to her comment or not doesn't change the issue of inaccuracy in *your* statement.

Didn't say it didn't bother me. Just said I didn't read it. And when I say 'didn't read' I mean *didn't read for content* or *didn't read thoroughly*. Regardless- how I feel about that statement does NOT change the issue of inaccuracy of an absolute generalization. I don't know why you keep dragging this on and on- either you meant for it to be an absolute- in which case my statement that it is inaccurate applies and will keep being raised. Or you *didn't* mean for it to be an absolute- in which case you can either change the wording or say 'gee I didn't mean it that way' and we can move on. It's not a hard thing. It has nothing to do with what anyone else has said- as their statements don't change your own. Is that difficult to understand, because I'm wondering why this is such an issue for you and why you're SO defensive about why I didn't say anything about so-and-so's post.

So he's raising his children because you are the one spending the large amounts of time with the children and doing all of the work?

That's great, but I wasn't talking about your specific situation.
