Help! Husband pushing me to find job!

My husband has just taken a leave of absense from his high paying 80 hour a week job to focus on being home more and finding out what he really wants to do. He is now working 3 days a week at a job he really likes. He always said if he took this job he would find another part time job to supplement the income. I am working weekends and babysitting during the week, but my income is a joke. Our kids are 5 and 3 and cry every weekend when I leave. My problem is this: my husband has put no effort in finding that 2nd job he said he would find and is pushing me to work full time. I want to be a stay at home mom, but it may mean him going back to a job he hates. He says the kids will adjust, get over it. Am I being selfish or lazy for wanting to stay home? Is he being selfish for leaving a good paying job?

Oh I *LOVE* to re-do secondhand furniture! Both my dd's dresser and her bookcase are used. I painted them to match her room and have gotten tons of compliments over the years. There is a lot one can do with some paint and stuff like Modpodge or chalkboard paint. I think its fun!

I have seen chalkboard paint on the home improvement shows and I have to say that it is the coolest thing ever!

My son's school has just over a hundred students in grades 6-12 and they have 2 1/2 science teachers. The 1/2 teacher also teaches some math classes. They can't keep teachers...we lost two last year who left to teach at schools in the west that allowed them fewer preps -- high school only for one.

It was a tux. And.. most of them are married already. The one's that aren't, well, it will probably be a while, since they don't even have steady SOs.

I'll rephrase. Most people that I know at my level of income (which is just about everyone I know) don't put their children in multiple sports.

Hmm. I fail to see where I even implied that it meant that.

That is good news, indeed. Glad to hear that things are looking up. Did the tester's conclusions confirm your suspicions? What made the school come around?

Oh....I was also thinking about the cheerleaders for the football organization my son plays for.
