Yes, lol, there are many "grey" people here and welcome. The discussions do tend to revolve around the extremes. After all, "grey" does not make for much debate.
Welcome to the board. I think that there is a lot of grey here is because a lot of us have done both (or rather all three)--sah, woh, and some of us have wah at various times in our children's lives.

What happened? Weren't you the one who worked in computers/programming? If you are, you used to be so pleasant. It's not good for you to take things so personally. I don't know what knotted your knickers, but being so nasty all of the time has got to take it's toll.
we must be reading different boards. Most of what I see on here is LOADS of shades of gray -- with a few black and white views thrown in there. I don't think anyone is "looking for" the insult, but will certainly respond to any/all points made.
I've also never seen anyone who had to "justify" their parenting choices. Heck, I certainly don't need ANY justification for continuing to be a wohm -- having been one for 17+ years, I'm very, very happy with all the work and parenting decisions that I've made.
I, too, am so glad that I made the decision that I did...to be a stay at home wife and mother. The only time that I have felt that my decision was looked down upon has been when my answer to the "what do you do?" question is met with..."oh" and a blank stare....the nay sayers have shut up around here too...I would do it the same way all over again and I hope that any grandchildren and great grand
