i don't know what kind of job that is but i think the types of jobs that are going to stimulate growth in this economy are the small, grunt work, shift work type jobs.

What kind of scheulde does your BIL have?
Timely discussion on the part of our family. My husband will be getting a new position at work soon. We are having lots and lots and lots of discussion on what schedule would work for our family and for him personally - since he does not want to take a job he hates just for the schedule.
When the children were infants - shift work was great - he was home during the day, I at night - It worked out pretty good.
Then he worked midnights - so we got an aupair - my H was home when she worked but had to sleep so instead of stressing he could enjoy the kids without all the responsibility and it worked out pretty good.
Then he had what I call "his dream" job - personally rewarding - but took him away from the kids day, nights, weekends, vacations, and holidays - now that sucked! At the risk of sounding like my husband was not too into toddlers - I think this was easier on him during that time
when we had two toddlers DH was a supervisor with call center, shift work type hours.
