Come first?

I don't mean in an emergency or their general well being.

It's what my kids really enjoy. They like mcdonald's and wendy's(which their grandmother gets for them), but given the choice they'll pick the steak and shake or pizza or chinese over it. I don't think any of that stuff is much healthier or probably about the same healthwise.

ROFLAO...so bad food is more bad when you do eat it because you need to go to the grocery store ROFLAO...now that seriously is funny.

It sounds like this poster does plan for the most part. The sister taking the kid to McDonalds was not a last minute desperation measure.

I have one of those weird kids who simply won't touch a big mac. But we eat pizza pretty often. I have yet to figure out what is so bad about pizza anyway. It is bread, cheese and veggies (we do not like meat on pizza), how is that bad?

Ok, you got me. They eat fast food probably about once a week it averages out to. And that's more than enough to me, probably high. But statistically, our kids in this country are overweight and unhealty and fast food is a part of it. They market to kids and they market to impulse buying. That's all I'm saying.

You can twist my words. But bottom line: Don't get caught in a bind. Because that's what the fast food chains count on. They count on busy moms and busy people who don't plan ahead with healthy meals and healthy staples on hand in the house. They count on us making those impulse fast food meal purchases. That is statistically true. No matter how you twist my words about the planned vrs unplanned meal. The point is if you plan, you take the control and put it back in your hands as a parent. YOU used generally, not you, I have no idea what you personally do.

I actually would think nothing of a child eating some junk like that once a week.

We eat pizza but the owner is a family friend and we've been in the kitchen. And I've seen the ingredients. The sausage is obviously fatty but other than that I think the pizza I eat is healthy. I think most independent pizza places are healthy with the obvious exceptions of the fatty sausage etc. But the chains like pizza hut, etc I wonder about.

It's very condescending for you to be informing all of us of this information. I mean, really, who doesn't know that the country is overweight? Who doesn't know that fast food can contribute to obesity?
