There is an article in todays local paper about a man works the night shift and spends his days caring for his children.

He uses the term Daytime dad to describe himself.

How do you feel about that term for shift workers who care for theri children during the day?

Our preschool co-op requires regular volunteering in the classroom from a parent, and there are only a couple of dads who do it, and none on the board, but I understand that varies from year to year.

We still get more moms than dads volunteeering in the classrooms too, but we get a few more each year.
