For moms who choose to use daycares, how do you determine that your child will be well cared for? I have a close relative who is about to become a mommy and she is terrified of leaving the baby in daycare. No one in my immediately family has ever used a daycare

I meant 8 hours a day Monday through Friday. I know a lot of people do it, but as a first time mom to a 16 month old this sounds awful to me. I don't think I could do it. Although I, unlike some, love being a stay-at-home mom.

I agree it's not the most important thing in the world to clean up a child's messy face after a meal, but I really think if you had done it as a matter of routine from the very beginning
