For moms who choose to use daycares, how do you determine that your child will be well cared for? I have a close relative who is about to become a mommy and she is terrified of leaving the baby in daycare. No one in my immediately family has ever used a daycare

Thank you...you're the first person on this discussion board to be nice. : ) I started off just giving my opinion and talking about my personal experiences to the person who posted the first question about daycare vs staying at home, and suddenly I got bombarded with angry working mother's.

I'm glad you did the appropriate research when looking into child care. I'm sure you did a great job, and your child was fine during the day. I just prefer to be home with my little one. Some parents prefer to work. As far as the 8 hours M-F goes...that is a long time away from a child. I'm with my son all day and night every day of the week, and I see just how much I would miss if I worked full time. A lot happens in that 8+ hour period. That doesn't mean you're a bad parent even if you don' t have to work

CVS should have direct deposit from my paycheck. I find many many excuses to go to CVS. Just to GET AWAY FROM THE MADNESS.

First of all, working moms don't need congratualtions for researching childcare arrangements for their kids.
