how do i convince my husband to let me at least job-share so i can take care of our 3 month old dd? he grew up with his mom working & all his friend's moms working. we can afford it if we cut back on some things, but he doesn't want to cut back & just doesn't understand someone wanting to be a stay at home mom...it doesn't help mycause that the grandmothers will babysit. i'm so unhappy about having to go back to work...he wants me to work full time 1 more year & just doesn't get it! i feel like my heart is being ripped from my chest every time i hink about it.

So if everything is God, then God is nothing more than what we see around us. If everything is God, nothing is God.

You know that it's time to get some sleep when you spell "revere" as "rever" LOL.

The last two lines of post 1541 should read:

"BTW, you're certainly welcome to believe that a *supernatural being* created nature *for* us and therefore we should revere a supernatural being."

"However, I myself believe that *nature* created us and we should therefore revere nature."

If you are posting these for the general edification of yourself and others, go right ahead. If you are posting just for me, however, don't bother. I read critiques of religion far more compelling and accurate than these every day. It's part of what I do for a living.

OK, go ahead and worship nature. And call it whatever you like.

"So if everything is God, then God is nothing more than what we see around us. If everything is God, nothing is God."

Actually it would be more accurate to say that, "God is all, and all is God."

Or perhaps that, "God is everything, and everything is God"

I tried hard to find something edifying in it myself. No joy.

I am posting for the general edifcation of others, not just you :)

BTW, does this mean you refuse to read the articles I posted, or that you've already read them especially the one written by Einstein (seeing as it's part of what you do for a living)?

So glad to finally have your blessing :)
