How do moms make money at part-time?

Questions: Is it financially meaningful to work part-time, especially some of the time from home, if kids are home with mom after school dismissal and summer/vacations.  If you presently work full-time but had to work mostly from your home office for a long term, to meet the needs of your family or your health, does your employer/home life allow for that?  And for how long?  "Forever"?

Why not turn your $10 into thousands literally? System was even featured in Oprah Winfrey Show, Wall Street Journal and backed by PayPal.

Where did you spend your $10 today, yesterday, the other day and the day before that? Did you spend it on burgers from a fastfood chain? Did you buy something that later on you'll just throw in the corner? Did you buy a music cd that you'll only end up listening to just one song? Did you just purchase a new DVD movie? A new dress perhaps and it'll just end up in the closet not being able to wear on any occasion? Did it make you any money at all?

Why won't you let that $10 of yours turn into thousands? We'll show you how and you'll be glad you spared a little drop of your time reading on...

SAFER THROUGH PAYPAL!! SYSTEM REALLY WORKS FAST!!

SEE WHAT OPRAH HAD TO SAY, AND EVEN PAYPAL!! $$$$$$$$$$$$

We're sure youve read these letters asking you to send $1 to 10 different addresses. Putting your home address on the internet can be risky, but through paypal all you have to provide is your email address. Its safe and easy just go to www.paypal.com and set up your account!!!! We're not gullible people and have never trusted things like this, but we gave it a try, hey its only $10, We figured at least 10 people would respond out of the millions of people that use the internet. You should give it a try too! You have nothing to lose, and thousands to gain! Read on for the letter that we found ... $$$ HOW TO TURN $10 INTO $10,000+!!! THIS REALLY CAN MAKE YOU EASY MONEY!! IT WORKS!!! BUT YOU HAVE TO FOLLOW IT TO THE LETTER FOR IT TO WORK!!!! $$$

A little while back, we were browsing through newsgroup, just like you are now and came across an article similar to this that said you could make thousands dollars within weeks with only an initial investment of $10.00! So we thought, "Yeah, right, this must be a scam", but like most of us, we were curious, so we kept reading. Then we heard about a little segment on the OPRAH WINFREY show and an article published in the Wall Street Journal, here is some of it!! Everyone has heard about "PayPal" (if you haven't you will soon) and, when we came across this concept we knew it would work because, as a member of PayPal, I had already experienced their efficiency and excellent standing. PayPal is the simplest method of making and receiving payments online anyone has ever seen! Anyone with an email address can join, for FREE! Please read further before you go there. You can complete this whole process in less than one hour and you will never forget the day you decided to do so. Oh! Did we say FAST? By fast we mean the speed of the Internet-type fast. Everything is done on the Internet by E-mail; and, if you abide by the rules, it is NOT considered SPAM, so it's perfectly legal!

Anyway, it said that you send $1.00 though paypal to each of the emails stated in the article. You then place your own email address in the bottom of the list at #10, and post the article in at least 200 news groups. (There are thousands) No catch that was it. So after thinking it over, and talking to few people first, we thought about trying it. We figured what have I got to lose except $10.00, right? Like most of us we were a little skeptical and a little worried about the legal aspects of it. It follows the same regulations as the "mailed chain letters, which according to the U.S. Post Office (1-800-725-2161) is indeed legal! Then we invested the measly $10.00. Well GUESS WHAT!!? Within 7 days, I started getting money in my paypal account! We were shocked! We figured it would end soon, but the money just kept coming in. In our first week, we made about $20.00. By the end second week we had made a total over $1,200.00!!! In the third week we had over $10,000.00 and it's still growing. This is now our fourth week and we have made a total of just over $60,000.00 and it's still coming in rapidly. It's Certainly worth $10.00. We have spent more than that on burgers and fries from fast-food chains!! Let us tell you how this works and most importantly, why it works? Also, make sure you print a copy of this article NOW, so you can get the information off of it as you need it.

$$$ REQUIREMENTS: You must have a verified paypal account (premiere or business account to be able to accept payments). If you do not have an account you can go to www.paypal.com and follow the instructions to set up a free account. In order to place the initial $10 into your account, you will have to verify your bank account with paypal (which may take a few days). Paypal is 100% secure and is used by millions of people world wide.
FPRIVATE "TYPE=PICT;ALT=Sign up for PayPal and start accepting credit card payments instantly."

STEP 1: Send, through paypal, $1.00 to each email on the below list. Make the subject of the payment "Email List" and in the comments, write "PLEASE PUT ME ON YOUR EMAIL LIST." What you are doing is creating a service by this and best of all you are not giving your address to anyone you do not know ... THIS IS ABSOLUTELY LEGAL! The email list:

#01) boymushrum@yahoo.com
#02) grace.c.sales@gmail.com
#03) nojeel@aol.com
#04) nandy@ourlocalmall.com
#05) twimics@gmail.com
#06) eurone75@yahoo.com
#07) itsjustdell@aim.com
#08) QuickRiches@aol.com
#09) ECLIPSEluver@aol.com
#10) >

STEP 2: Now take the #1 email off the list that you see above, move the other addresses up (10 becomes 9, 9 becomes 8, 8 becomes 7, 7 becomes 6 etc) and add YOUR email address (the one used on the paypal account) as number 10 on the list (which we already prepared for you).

STEP 3: Change anything you need to, but try to keep this article as close to original as possible. Now, post your amended article to at least 200 newsgroups, message board. (We think there are close to 32,000 groups) All you need is 200, but remember, the more you post, the more money you make - as well as everyone else on the list!

I WAH a few days a week. My friends in the legal field range from only working from home on a rare project that allows it, to doing it 2-3 days a week. Many bring their laptops home regularly. The common approach seems to be getting up early and work 2 hours before the kids get up. Have breakfast with them, then send them off to school or day care or nanny. Take a long break during the day for kids' activities, either with leave or flex-time, work until dinner time, then again at bedtime/homework time. For all of the ones I know, the expectations are very clear, and the emoter gets more work out of the employee because they do not want to lose the privilege.

I've been a WAHM for about eight years now. But - and here's the catch - working at home means making sacrificing somewhere in your schedule. It's unrealistic to think that you'll work at home part time if you have children around. You're cheating your boss if you do. But if you work part-time during the evenings and naps, you can make a pretty big dent in some household bills depending on what you do with that time.

As children get older and head off to school, you can easily do 30 to 35 hours per week, especially if you add time in the evening, but you can't work at home effectively and also plan to be the room parent, the volunteer soccer coach, Betty Homemaker and napping when the kids nap. It just does't work that way.

<<I guess some people do less at home so they are less tired. I would think with a new baby you would be tired too. Oh well....>>

OR....it could be that some are more efficient with their time than others or simply chose to spend it in different ways.

Working from home is not for everyone and not ideal for every company, but it is a viable option for many.

I know very few people who do very little all day.

I've always maintained that my life as a SAHM is easier than that of a working mom, if for no other reason than I've got more hours at home in which to get stuff done.

Today was a spectacular cake walk--gym, lunch w/a friend, grocery store, a bit of planting in the garden & catch up on paperwork, cook dinner & now hanging w/the kids after some baking. Was life more challenging w/little ones at home? Sure. But now that they're in school--if I weren't in school myself, I would be bored out of my mind.

On Wednesdays we wear pink.

I'm still not seeing it!  Shall I describe more of my daily life as a SAHM? ;)

Are you talking about my SAH before or after I come home from my tennis match and lunch at the country club? LOL!  SAH is a slice of Heaven compared to working and 7 years of my Ivy League undergrad and law school.  Perhaps you're thinking of someone else?
