How does this relate to the debate?

Hey I rhymed! lol

Something occurred to me earlier and I wanted to see how others thought it might relate to the whole "which is harder SAH/WOH" portion of the debate that crops up so often.

I think that, when you look at either group *as a whole*, the WOHs might have it harder. And this is why ...

There are virtually no SAHMs who SAH because they "have to". There are virtually no SAHMs who are forced to SAH. A woman that SAH wants to SAH.(I'm sure there's a few exceptions out there; controlling dhs who MAKE their wives SAH, disabled children, etc) A woman that SAH doesn't hate her "job", or else she'd go get a WOH job. A woman that SAH is generally getting what she wants.

There are LOTS AND LOTS of WOHMs who WOH because they "have to". A single mom, or one whose dh doesn't make enough to support the family, or one with a disabled dh, whatever the case may be ... she may long, with all her heart, to SAH, but *can't*. Many WOHMs hate their jobs, but can't quit.

Anyhoo ... just wanted to stir up something new

Allow me to explain:

We can either debate PJM and have an intelligent conversation......

or....

We can attempt to decipher your posts, which are full of nothing but mud....

Which would you choose?

You didn't need to. How can you take any degree of offense to being referred to as an artificial parent (no matter how stupid such a comment is) and then turn around and make a bunch of ignorant generalizations about cosleepers?

I'm sorry but I'm not aware of any ignorant generalizations I made regarding co-sleepers. Care to refresh my memory?

Talk about constant complaining would you listen to yourself. you continue to refer to "we" could you please keep yourself in 1 person. You actuallly dont get it and do not have a clue what you are talking about when it comes to me. could you please keep your personal issue's with me to yourself (I can not believe how hot and bothered you are getting over silverunity)...it really none of your business and does not belong on a debate board.

thanks~ this was simply corrective critisim dont take it as a put down.

Why is that ignorant? Educate me then, what's the big benefit to breastfeeding children over the age of 3? I'm all for breastfeeding, I did it with both my children, I just don't understand why anyone would prolong it until their preschool years, other than to benefit themselves. There is NO medical evidence to suggest that bf'ing over the age of 3 offers any significant benefit to children.

lol .. For clarification, I did leave the word "you" out of my post to PJM. But I edited it once I noticed it because, unlike some, I do want my post to be understood.
