Heck, we have polled everything else, I was curious about this one. :) For the record, we had our first child 15 months and one week after we got married.

Does this mean the birth of my first child without my spouse doesn't count?

What if my first child was from someone besides my spouse?

I was just curious as to how long people have waited to have kids with their spouse. Doesn't mean your first child doesn't count, if they aren't your child with your spouse, but they don't count for this poll.

Our eldest child was 14 months old when we got married. As mentioned in previous threads, we were going through alot and it took us some time. He was at our wedding :)

We had been married just shy of 11 months when Joel was born. He was due 4 days before our wedding anniversary, but I guess he decided he couldn't wait that long.

7 years from marriage to when we had dd. Then another 8 years between dd and ds. Just call us the procrastinators.

7 years. We had to get our student loans paid off before we could afford to take on daycare. The second child issue was put on hold until the mortgage was paid off, as we couldn't afford daycare/tuition for two along with the mortgage payment.
