How do you think the economy will affect decisions by women to stay at home versus work? With so many people losing jobs, do you think more women will be forced back into a job to help out (or take over) family finances? Is SAH parenting

I dunno, with 4 people jumping on little ole me (and none of them realized the others were going to do the same thing), I hit the ground pretty hard. ;-)

Yeesh, never mind. Obviously this is one of those "I'm not reading between the lines" moments, because again I don't see where she said that anyone stated that someone's teacher was trying to impress, etc, only that she is happy that she's NOT dealing with any of that stuff.

I think that was a polite way for her to say that she is not into the debate anymore, as is anyone else.

Yes. And? There is no mention of another poster.

She's not claiming any statements on anyone else's part, so what's with the whole "show me where I stated that" thing?

Well yes, I switched my son (as in one son) to a different school twice, now thrice if you count middle school...but

Please don't take it personally. This poster, who has said over and over that she sits in the back of a classroom to make an educated decision of what school her kids should be in, has taken her one son out of 2 schools and another one out of 1 school.

OBVIOUSLY, those "sit-in's" were not worth it :0
