How do you think the economy will affect decisions by women to stay at home versus work? With so many people losing jobs, do you think more women will be forced back into a job to help out (or take over) family finances? Is SAH parenting

At a time when people can buy probably half of what they need on the internet, low COL area and high COL area don't mean what they used to. ;)

you can't draw the conclusion that your WOH is simply because the COL there is higher.

I brought it up to show that a $300,000 difference in the size of a (hypothetical) family's mortgage could, in and of itself, determine whether a family can afford a SAHP or not.
