How do you think the economy will affect decisions by women to stay at home versus work? With so many people losing jobs, do you think more women will be forced back into a job to help out (or take over) family finances? Is SAH parenting

I was glad that we never got stationed in a high COL area. Two of the bases we were at were in extremely low COL areas, the others were in low COL areas.

Why do you assume everyone has a mortgage?

Hemenway's is still there, but its always been more blue hair than college student, though. Rue De L'Espoir apparently still is and was when I went there in the 80s. Were you really familiar with the East Side of the mid to late 80s that you were a college student? Did you go to the Avon? Cable Car? Elisabeth's or, of course, the Hot Club?

How many people get off 95 in Ct for anything other than gas and munchies?

I'm perfectly content with my home, and please, move on through as quickly as possible.

BTW - I did ask you to respond to an actual "debate" question. Do you have any interest?

Sliced bread that is cut extra thick. It comes in the same size loaf as regular bread but instead of about 22 slices it is cut in about 10-12.

Hmmm - ok...

Aren't savings, er, savings and not part of the budget? Do you plan a budget that normally dips into savings?

Tax refunds? Doesn't any good budget planner get little or no refund. (Don't want to give the bloated government an interest free loan.)

Bonuses? Since they are usually variable, why would they be part of any budget? And good luck with counting on this year's bonuses.

Child support - n/a

Wow - I guess I'm doing it wrong. My budget is based our combined base salary, and we live within the limits. Any dividends, bonuses, lotto winnings et al may go to off budget items, like my cruise, or tiara.
