How do you think the economy will affect decisions by women to stay at home versus work? With so many people losing jobs, do you think more women will be forced back into a job to help out (or take over) family finances? Is SAH parenting

Didn't you know if you could afford to live there before you moved? I'm surprised you wouldn't have had a budget and seen that what you made was not enough to cover all expenses. Just like someone being house-poor because they buy too much of a house and can't afford it. My house might be too small for some people and I don't plan to ever "move up" to something larger as I would never want to have to worry about paying a mortgage and other bills and saving too.

Again, I said my "area", not town.

But isn't that because you have less bills? No mortgage, no car payments, things that you might have had when you lived in the higher col area?

How can I be right about something I never stated?

Again, if people aren't living on their salaries, what are they living on?
