How do you think the economy will affect decisions by women to stay at home versus work? With so many people losing jobs, do you think more women will be forced back into a job to help out (or take over) family finances? Is SAH parenting

I don't get your point. I could afford to SAH if I wanted to also.


Maybe one or a combination of those things, it varies from family to family. Just like with a dual WOHP family, the ways families I know can afford to SAH varies widely. As do their SOLs.

Ohh....because in the past I've routinely been told the $100 a week I get in child care (which btw is NOT considered incomein the eyes of the IRS) is the "second income" supporting my household...
